John Podesta Identifies the UFO X-File He Wants President Biden to Release First

There’s a case which can be made for John Podesta going down in history as the official who made the most promises to open up the government’s X-Files on UFOs – he promised to do it when he worked for President Clinton; he later apologized for NOT doing it and promised to do it when Hillary Clinton was elected; he  later expressed his frustration for not getting the chance when she lost – you get the idea. Now Podesta is attempting to put the X-File monkey on the current president’s back by not only urging President Biden to open the X-Files but even identifying the case to start with – an interesting 1965 crash of an unidentified object in Kecksburg, Pa.

In an interview with Politico’s West Wing Playbook, Podesta says Biden needs to create dedicated UFO office inside the White House’s Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) – a department whose staff dropped from 135 to 45 people under President Trump and is still operating under an acting director until Eric Lander, a American mathematician and geneticist, takes the office, which is a cabinet position. That would get much higher visibility than the secretive Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) had. He wants this department to do what he couldn’t.

“I just like to know what the government knows and I think the public has a right to know.”

One of the things John Podesta wants to know about is the 1965 crash of an unidentified object in Kecksburg, Pa.

“On December 9, 1965, thousands of people across six U.S. states and Ontario reported seeing a fireball streak across the afternoon sky. In Kecksburg, Pennsylvania, residents reported a crash in the nearby woods. U.S. military personnel arrived shortly thereafter, sealed off the area, and were allegedly seen later removing a large object in a flatbed truck.”

Atlas Obscura give an excellent account of the incident. Witnesses claimed to have seen a bronze-colored, acorn-shaped object roughly the size of a VW Beetle bearing markings that resembled Egyptian hieroglyphics. Those witnesses were chased away as armed military personnel came in and removed the object, and some reported being visited by mysterious officials warning them of dire consequences should they talk. One of those people was John Murphy, a reporter for local radio station WHJB, who claimed to have taken photos of object and created a radio documentary on the incident and alleged coverup titled “Object in the Woods” – a documentary that was heavily edited by government officials (the ‘acorn’ object was not mentioned) who also confiscated the photos. Four years later Murphy was killed in an apparent hit-and-run accident in California.

If this sounds familiar, it may be because the show “Unsolved Mysteries” covered it in 1990, building a life-size replica of what was now called the Space Acorn (see it here), and left it there where it’s a beacon for the curious and the souvenir shops.

And President Biden? That remains to be seen. This definitely sounds like an interesting UFO incident with proven military involvement. Does Biden feel as strongly about UFOs as John Podesta? Maybe he should talk to his good friend, former President Obama, who told Jimmy Kimmel last week that the objects seen by military pilots definitely exist. The real question is, “Will the government reveal them to the public?”

Perhaps President Biden needs a John Podesta of his own. How about John Podesta?
