A new report reveals Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic flight to near space had a red caution light on due to a trajectory problem that endangered the flight and took the ship out of its FAA approved airspace – a condition that should have force the pilots to abort the flight but instead they decided to correct it, complete the flight and land safely. Next time, Branson will probably bring black tape to cover it.

NASA is testing an all-electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft built by California-based Joby Aviation as part of its Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) National Campaign with the goal of establishing an entirely a city-to-city flying taxi system. After what’s been happening on the ISS, don’t expect anyone to ask the driver to ‘crack’ open the window.
